The TRMS miniature clamp meter has the ability to capture Inrush or the instantaneous surge current when the power equipment is first turned on. It measures up to 400 A AC/DC while clamping around a single conductor not needing to break the circuit. Using a clamp meter allows you to save time while avoiding damage to the circuit compared to the typical multimeters.
