The SPC15509 is a 24-pin Socket Terminals with nickel plated brass contacts and disposable carrier assemblies. The PTCA series pin terminal carrier assembly socket is based on the very high specific pressure (VHSP) contact system. Drilling low-profile board enables the contacts to be inserted down the shoulder and leaves 0.030-inch maximum profile above board. Closed bottom pin protects from wicking and flux contamination. This socket meets severe environmental requirements of high shock and vibration. Permits maximum air circulation under ICs and eliminates head entrapment under the insulator. Air-cooled and throw-away metal carrier eases installation.
