The HLMP-1640 is a 3mm 5V Integrated Resistor LED Lamp contains an integral current limiting resistor in series with the LED. This allows the lamp to be driven from a 5v source without an external current limiter. The green device uses GaP on a GaP substrate. The diffused lamp provides a wide Off-axis viewing angle.
